About AMI Resources Inc.

AMI Resources Inc. is a Vancouver, British Columbia based exploration and development stage company, which through its wholly owned operating subsidiary AMI Africa Exploration Ltd. (formerely “Norcan Mining Corp.”), has elected to concentrate its exploration activities on West Africa.

AMI's approach to success is to evaluate and acquire promising gold exploration projects either directly from the government or through purchases/options with other companies/individuals. With adequate financial support, AMI will assume the initial risks of mineral exploration. Should a resource be outlined AMI will then determine the feasibility of bringing the project into production internally or will look to a producing company for either a joint venture or outright sale.

Currently AMI Africa holds two contiguous concessions the Anuoro (Praso) & Beposo which combined cover approximately 15 km of strike length along the prolific Ashanti Trend. These concessions are strategically located on the Ashanti Trend between Anglo Ashanti, +40 million ounce Obuasi Mine 50 km to the southwest, the Konongo Mine on the northern border and 25 km to the southwest of Newmont’s mine permitted Akyem  +7 million ounce gold deposit. AMI's concessions cover approximately 162 square kilometers within this trend and are jointly referred to as the North Ashanti Gold Project.

AMI has already established a 327,629 oz gold resource qualified under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines.
